About the Food as Medicine Policy & Research Summit

Founded by Grey Green Media in 2021, the Food as Medicine Policy & Research Summit is a focused convening dedicated to advancing evidence-based policy and systems change at the intersection of nutrition and health. The Summit brings together policymakers, researchers, healthcare leaders, commercial exec’s and community organizations to examine how food-based interventions can be effectively integrated into healthcare and public health frameworks.

The program centers on policy design, research standards, and implementation at scale. Sessions address federal and state policy developments, funding and regulatory considerations, and the evidence required to support Food as Medicine initiatives such as medically tailored meals, produce prescriptions, and nutrition incentives.

By convening decision-makers and practitioners directly involved in policy and implementation, the Summit helps move Food as Medicine from pilot programs to durable, scalable policy solutions that improve health outcomes and advance equity.
